Abstract:

This study aims to study the perceptions of teachers candidates to physics, chemistry and biology experiments through metaphors. The study was attended by 68 teachers who are studying in the 3rd grade of science education. The phenomenology has been used in this study. The data obtained from the study has been analyzed in five stages, naming, sorting, categorizing, ensuring validity and reliability and transferring data to the computer environment. The metaphors expressed by the teachers candidates were evaluated as positive and negative. The study found that the teaching candidates’ perceptions of physics, chemistry and biology experiments were positive.
