Abstract:

2008 global crisis had negatively affected many economies in the world. Also, the negative effects of the crisis reflected on the Eurasia economies. In this context, the purpose of the research is to investigate the effects on Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan economies of the 2008 global crisis as the selected Eurasian countries. Therefore, it was firstly examined the sectoral distribution of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan economies, and the impacts of the crisis on sectors. Then it was in vestigated growth trend, unemployment, inflation rates, changes in exports, the current account balance, and foreign capital investment of the economies during the crisis period. In conclusion Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan economies were affected due to low oil revenues by the global crisis.
