Abstract:

It seems that today’s art understanding has adopted the concept of intertextism, which was recognised as the method of reading of postmodernism in recent periods. Intertext is defined as generating new meanings based on another text. It is influenced by the other text by interaction with various methods. The notion that has a lot of vocality in the form of a previously produced text, or that has been narrated or inspired by it, is manifested in all the disciplines of literature and later art, especially in the 1960s. At the same time, this form of interaction, which causes the unification of the art product and the extinction of the aura, causes the art product to be normalized by reproduction as well. Especially paintings, statues, graphics, etc. In the fields, serial production enables the artist to produce new meanings by starting from the other text. In the postmodern period, with the concept of intertextity, the audience has important tasks as well. In this regard, the buyer is more active in the production and consumption processes. Each artwork leaves different influences and perceptions to the spectator according to his intellectual accumulation, the work actively causes the spectator to create his favourites by passing through his own scanner. The original text is re-presented to the crowds by repeated and imitated methods. The methods of intertext and the artwork are repeated and renewed by the forms it continuously passes. When the present art conception is derived from the acceptance that all forms of art are influenced by each other and formed in a karma structure, it is almost impossible to mention the original text. It is almost impossible in the postmodern period that one text cannot be cited to another text, not to be influenced by the other or not to be exposed to a kind of multiplicity effect. Postmodern art approach, especially in the expression of an endless questioning field with intertext and interindicator methods, today the texts are constantly influenced by each other, repeating and imitating each other.
