So many results that aren't mine?

ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ DEĞERLERLE İLGİLİ ZİHİNSEL YAPILARI

1739 Sayılı Millî Eğitim Temel Kanunu’nun da yer alan Millî Eğitiminin genel amaçlarından biri de Türk milletinin tüm fertlerini millî, ahlaki, insani, manevi ve kültürel değerleri benimseyen, koruyan ve geliştiren bireyler olarak yetiştirmektir. Bu süreçte öğretmenlere önemli roller düşmektedir. Bu kapsamda araştırma sınıf öğretmenliği son sınıfta okuyan öğretmen adaylarının değerlerle ilgili zihin yapılarını ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Anadolu’da bir üniversite oluştururken, örneklemini 2017-2018 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde bu üniversiteye devam eden 48 sınıf öğretmeni adayı oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veriler araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan Kelime İlişkilendirme Testi (KİT) ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi ve kesme noktası kullanılarak zihin haritalarına dönüştürülüp analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Microsoft Excel programından faydalanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın sonucunda katılımcıların milli, ahlaki, insanı, manevi ve kültürel değerler anahtar kavramlarıyla ilişkilendirdikleri kelimelerin bilimselliğine, türüne, sayısına ve anahtar kavramlarla ilişkili olup olmadığına bakıldığında, katılımcıların değerlerle ilgili zihinsel yapılarının güçlü olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcıların zihin haritalarının sade olduğu, zihin haritasında dallanma ve kelime sayısının az olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

One of the general objectives of the Ministry of Education is to raise citizens who adopt, protect and develop the national, moral, human, spiritual and cultural values. Teachers have significant roles in this process. This research aims to identify mental structures of senior pre-service classroom teachers regarding the values. Having a descriptive survey model design, the research has been carried out with a university located in Anatolia. The research sample consists of 28 senior pre-service classroom teachers who study in this university during the academic year of 2017 and 2018. Research data have been collected through Word Association Test (WAT) developed by the researchers. The data have been analyzed through content analysis and mind maps using breakpoints. Microsoft Excel program has been used during data analysis. When the words associated with the national, moral, human, spiritual and cultural values have been analyzed depending on their type, number, being related to these keywords or not, participants have been found to hold weak mental structures regarding values. Mind maps of the participants have been identified to be simple and that there are fewer words and branching in their mind maps.
