Çalışmanın amacı, bir özel hastanenin erişkin yoğun bakım ünitesindeki maliyet alanlarının tespit edilmesi, birim maliyetlerin elde edilmesi ve maliyet muhasebesinin, işletmenin sürdürülebilirliği için önemini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada hastanenin 2017 yılı verileri doğrultusunda fiili tam maliyet yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler insan kaynakları ücret bordroları, satın alma ve depo kayıtları, muhasebe birimi kayıtları, biyomedikal birim kayıtları ve ilgili birimlerdeki uzman görüşlerinden elde edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda erişkin yoğun bakım giderlerinin %40,67’inin direkt işçilik, %39,43’ünün direkt ilk madde malzeme giderinden oluştuğu görülmüştür. Erişkin yoğun bakımda toplanan maliyet tutarının 3.062.678,43 TL, birim maliyetin ise 487,99 TL olduğu görülmüştür. Hesaplamalar 694 hasta ve 6276 yatış günü üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu’nca gerçekleştirilen ödemelerin, maliyetleri karşıladığı görülmüştür. Yoğun bakım ünitelerinin daha geniş bir şekilde ve yalın anlayışlarla birlikte değerlendirilmesi önerilmektedir.
The aim of the study is to identify the cost areas in an adult intensive care unit of a private hospital, to obtain unit costs and to show the importance of cost accounting for the sustainability of the business. The study used the actual full cost method according to the 2017 data of the hospital. The data is obtained from human resources salary borders, purchases and warehouses records, accounting unit records, biomedical unit records and expert opinions in the relevant units. The analysis found that 40.67% of adult intensive care expenditure consisted of direct labour and 39.43% of direct first material expenditure. The cost amount collected in adult intensive care was 3.062.678,43 TL, while the unit cost was 487.99 TL. The calculations were carried out over 694 patients and 6276 rescue days. The social security agency has placed the costs. It is recommended that intensive care units be evaluated in a wider way and with simple understanding.
