İnsanlık tarihi boyunca çok önemli roller üstlenmiş olan at, henüz o eski önemini ve değerini yitirmemiş kutsal ve asil bir hayvan olarak kabul edilmektedir. Asya bozkırlarında Türkler tarafından evcilleştirildiği bilinen at, tarihten bu yana yaylak-kışlak hayat yaşayan topluluklarda sadece basit bir binit olarak kullanılmamıştır. Atın, gerektiği zaman etinden, sütünden faydalanılan bir besin kaynağı, ister günlük hayatta, ister savaş durumlarında derisinden, kuyruk ve yelelerinden çeşitli araç gereçlerin yapıldığı önemli bir kaynak, yine yaylak-kışlak hayatı sürdüren topluluklarda yük hayvanı, toprakların işletilmesinde öküzün yanı sıra kullanılan çift hayvanı, ayrıca zenginlik göstergesi ve ekonomik bir güç olduğu bilinir. Atın, sadece bu şekilde kullanılan basit bir hayvan olmadığı, “At insanın kanadı” atasözünde olduğu gibi, bir dost, sırdaş, tehlikeli anlarda sahibini koruyup kollayan varlık olduğuna da inanılmıştır. Bundan dolayıdır ki at konusunda rivayetler, söylentiler dile getirilmiş, mitlerde, masallarda, efsanelerde, menkıbelerde ve destanlarda insanları kurtaran önemli birer kahraman hayvanları olarak anlatılmış, çeşitli halk şairlerinin şiirlerine de konu olmuştur. Peki, yaylak-kışlak hayatının neredeyse görülmediği günümüz dünyasında atın insan hayatındaki önemi nedir? Hipodromlarda koşturularak kazanma uğrunda bahislerin oynandığı bir obje midir? Ya da spor yarışlarında temsil ettiği ülkelerin veya grupların onurunu koruyan birer gurur kaynağı mıdır? Hâlâ insanlar tarafından ilk dönemlerdeki gibi önem veriliyor mu? Yoksa sadece masallarda, efsanelerde anlatılan kahramanlığıyla ön plana çıkmış bir hayvan mıdır? Bu sorulara cevap aramak üzere bu çalışmada bir örneklem olarak 20. yüzyılın başlarına kadar yaylak-kışlak hayatlarına devam eden en eski Türk boylarından Kırgızların tanınmış şairi Tölögön Mameyev’in başta atı konu alan şiirleri incenecek daha sonra da diğer şiirlerinin arasından at kelimesinin geçtiği mısralar ele alınarak atın hangi anlamlarda kullandığı ve ata olan yaklaşımı tespit edilecektir.
The horse, which has played a very important role throughout human history, is considered a holy and noble animal that has not yet lost its ancient importance and value. The known horse, which was hosted by the Turks in the Asian boys, has since been used as a simple binite in communities that have lived a widespread life. The horse is a source of nutrition that is used from meat, milk when necessary, whether in everyday life, or in war situations, it is known that it is an important source of various vehicle tools made from its skin, hips and hips, and it is also known that it is a burden animal in the communities that maintain a widespread life, the bear as well as the double animal used in the management of the soil, as well as an indicator of wealth and an economic power. It is believed that the horse is not just a simple animal that is used in this way, as in the slogan "the horse of man's wing", it is also believed that it is a friend, companion, an entity that protects and preserves its owner in dangerous moments. Therefore, about the horse, the rivies, the rumors, the myths, the fairy tales, the legends, the memes and the fairy tales, were described as the important heroic animals that saved people, and the poems of various popular poets were also the subject. So what is the importance of the horse in human life in the present world where the widespread life is almost unvisible? Is it an object where bets are played to win by running in the hipodroms? Or is it a source of pride that preserves the honour of the countries or groups he represents in the sports competitions? Are people still paying attention as they were in the early days? Or is it an animal that is just out of front with his heroism in the fairy tales, the legends? For example, in this study to seek answers to these questions, 20. From the Turkish length to the beginning of the century, the famous poet Tölögön Mameyev's poems on the horse will be studied, and then the other poems will be discussed by the words of the horse, and the approach to which the horse is used and what the horse is will be identified.
Horse which played important roles in history did not lose its old importance and value and is regarded as a sacred and noble animal. It was tamed in the steppe of Central Asia by Turks and was not used only for riding purposes by the migrant settlers in the region. Horse is known as a nutrition source (meat and milk) when necessary, a vital resource in the war time to make equipment from its skin, tail and mane hair, as a draught animal to carry the household from highland to lowland and vice versa by the migrant settlers, as a span-mate to the ox to tame the soil, and as an indicator of richness and economic power. Horse is also seen as a good friend protecting its owner in dangerous situations as seen in the proverb: “Horse is the wing of the humankind”. Therefore, horse as a theme and character saving humans, is employed as a savior in many poems, stories, narratives, myths, fairy tales, legends, sagas and religious stories. It was also mentioned in many folk poetries. So, what is the importance of horse in contemporary life which has nearly no place for the migrant settlers’ life? Is it an object to race in hippodromes to earn money or an object to carry the flag of a nation in the sports events? Does the horse receive the same attention as it was in the past or is it just an animal savior narrated in the fairy tales? The life of Kyrgyz people, one of the oldest Turkic clan, who have lived as migrant settlers till the beginning of the 20th century and Kyrgyz poet Tölögön Mameyev’s poems will be analyzed as a sample to understand the value and place of the horse to answer these questions, then the verses which include “horse” will be investigated to see which meaning it carried and Mamayev’s approach to it.
