Türk sineması aile yaşamına ilişkin hikâyeler açısından oldukça üretken bir geçmişe sahiptir. Birçok filmde ailenin özel hayatı ve aile bireyleri olarak anne, baba ve çocuğun davranışları temsil edilmiştir. Bu temsiller genellikle ataerkil değer yargılarını izleyiciye aktarmıştır. Türk sineması aile ve toplum için son derece önem taşıyan evlat edinme hizmetini ise zaman zaman ilgi göstermiştir. Bu çalışma, Türk sinemasındaki aile ve kadın temsiline, evlat edinme kavramına bir bakış açısı getirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda öncelikle evlat edinmeyle ilgili filmler tespit edilmiş ve açıklanmıştır. Evlat edinmenin aile ve toplum açısından anlamını irdelemeleri sebebiyle Can (2012) ve Albüm (2016) isimli filmler çalışma kapsamında analiz edilmiştir. Nitel yöntem ve betimleme tekniği ile yapılan analizden elde edilen bulgular, evlat edinme sürecinde geleneksel değer yargılarına sahip toplumsal çevrenin etkin olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca bu filmler, evlatlık konusunu anlatıdaki dramatik bir unsur olarak kullanmaya ilişkin bir geleneği olan Türk sinemasının artık daha gerçekçi ve daha sorgulayıcı bir yaklaşıma sahip olduğunu örneklemektedir.
Turkish cinema has a productive history in terms of family life stories. Private life of family and the behaviors of mother, father and child as family members were presented in many films. These presentations usually narrated the patriarchal value judgment to the audience. Turkish cinema sometimes takes an interest in adoption organization which is very important for family and society. This study is seeking for the view of point about family and woman presentation and adoption concept in Turkish cinema. First of all, films related to child adoption were detected and explained. Can (2012) and Album (2016) films were analyzed in the study concept for the reason of their discussion to the medium of adoption for family and society. The findings that we get from qualitative method and description technique is showing the efficient social environment that have traditional value judgment in the adoption process. As a conclusion, both films give an example about more realistic and more query approach of Turkish cinema which has a tradition for using adoption subject as a dramatic element in the narrative.
