So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to compare two short stories, “Çöl Kızı” (Desert Girl) by Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil and “Eskici” (Junkman) by Refik Halid Karay and to determine the intertextual relationship of them. “Eskici” is a pastiche of “Çöl Kızı” but, it is not merely an imitation; technically it goes beyond “Çöl Kızı”. Besides, Refik Halid builds his story on an ideological ground different from and even opposite to that of Halid Ziya’s story. Unlike the story “Çöl Kızı”, which enables the reader to empathize with “the other”, the story “Eskici” is based on the idea of building a national identity over “the other”. Thus, the second story disaffirms the first. The intertextual relationship of the two stories is noteworthy in terms of indicating the change of mentality, which occurred due to the transition from empire to nation-state.
