Abstract:

Doğu edebiyatında anlatının sınırlarınıngeniş olduğu ve şairlerin bu sayede çok sayıda kurgusal metin oluşturabildikleri türlerden biri olan mesneviler, yüzyıllar boyunca çeşitli şairler tarafından kaleme alınmış ve neticesinde birçok hikâye ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunlardan biri de Yusuf ile Züleyha mesnevisidir. Bu mesnevinin önemli kaynaklarından biri kutsal metinlerdir. Kur’an-ı Kerim’deki Yusuf suresi bunlardandır. Bu sebeple kendisinin dayanaklarından biri olan bu kutsal metinle mesnevi arasında birtakım benzerlik ve farklılıkların tespiti mümkündür. Bu çalışmada metinlerin karşılaştırılması suretiyle bahsedilen husus açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır
