Nasiruddin Muhammad Humayun, the second Turkish Imperor of Babur Empire was born on March 6 1508 in Kabul in Afghanistan. He was trained according to Turkish traditions by Babur and studied Turkish, Arabic and Persian. Humayun participated important battles from childhood and got much experienced. After the death of Babur he rose to the throne at the age of 22 in Agra. Like his father he lost his kingdom early. After defeating by Sher Shah in the battle of Kannauj in 1540, Humayun had to live India and escaped Persia desperately. With the support of Iranian Shah Tahmasb he returned India after a long time in 1553. Humayun won the Battle of Sirhind (1555) against Afghan commander Sikandar Sur and he rebuilt Babur State in India. Humayun fell down from the stairs of his library at home and died in Delhi in 1556.
