Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenliğe ilişkin tutumlarının beş faktör kişilik boyutlarının yordayıcılığı açısından değerlendirilereköğretmenliğe ilişkin tutum ile beş faktör kişilik boyutları arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılı sonbahar dönemindeKırıkkale Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi dördüncü sınıflarında öğrenimgören ve mezun olup pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan 270’i kız, 89’u erkekolmak üzere toplam 359 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplamaaracı olarak Öğretmenliğe İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği ve Sıfatlara Dayalı Kişilik Testikullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verileri hiyerarşik regresyon analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre duygusaldengesizlik/nevrotizim, yumuşak başlılık ve sorumluluk kişilik boyutlarınınöğretmenliğe ilişkin tutumun yordayıcıları oldukları görülürken; dışadönüklükve deneyime açıklık boyutunun olmadığı belirlenmiştir
