Meslek Liselerinde Çalışan Kültür Dersi Öğretmenlerinin Karşılaştıkları Sorunlar ve Çözüm Önerileri (Pazarcık İlçesi Örneği)

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, Kahramanmaraş ili Pazarcık ilçesindeki meslek liselerinde çalışan kültür dersi öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları sorunlar ve bu sorunlara yönelik sunulan çözüm önerileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, ilçedeki 4 okuldan rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle yansız olarak seçilmiş 30 kültür dersi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma modellerinden olgu bilim deseni uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış olup görüşme formu Eğitim Yönetimi, Teftişi, Planlaması ve Ekonomisi alanında uzman ve deneyimli bir akademisyene inceletilerek, meslektaş görüşü alınarak ve katılımcı teyidi sağlanarak hazırlanmış ve kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formu esas alınarak içerik analizi yöntemiyle ana temaları içeren kategoriler ve alt kategoriler saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, meslek liselerinde çalışan kültür dersi öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları problemlerden en çarpıcı olanının öğrenci kaynaklı problemler olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrenci kaynaklı problemlere ilaveten, meslek dersleri öğretmeni kaynaklı, yönetici kaynaklı ve bu üç kategoriye girmeyen diğer problemlerin de olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Problemlere sunulan çözüm önerileri, öğrencilere kültür derslerinin öneminin anlatılması, kültürcü- meslekçi öğretmenler arasında iletişimin arttırılması ve yöneticilerin meslekçi-kültürcü ayrımı yapmaması şeklinde sıralanabilir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular neticesinde çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur

Abstract:

In this study, the problems that the culture course teachers working at vocational high schools in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province face and the solution proposals to those problems were investigated. The investigation sample is made up of 30 culture course teachersfrom 4 different schools in the district selected objectively with the use of random sampling method. Phenomenological design within the framework of qualitative research models was conducted in the research. As data collecting tool in the study, semi-structered interview form was used. The interview form was prepared and used by asking the views of an experienced and specialized academician in the field of educational administration, supervision, planning and economics of education and also the views of colleagues and the confirmation of the participants. With the method of content analysis based on the interview forms, categories and sub-categories including key themes were identified. The study reveals that the most striking problems that the culture course teachers working at vocational schools face is in the student-oriented problems category. In addition to the student-oriented problems, vocational course teacher-oriented, administrator-oriented and other problems that cannot be included in the previous three categories were found. The solution proposals provided to the problems can be outlined as explaining the importance of culture courses to the students, enhancing the communication between the culture course and vocational course teachers and having the administrators not to discriminate between the culture course and vocational course teachers. Different recommendations were made based on the findings of the study
