So many results that aren't mine?

Aday Öğretmenlerin Aday Öğretmen Yetiştirme Sürecine Yönelik Görüşleri

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to examine the opinions of the prospective teachers about the prospective teacher training process. The sample of the study which was conducted within the frame of qualitative research methods consists of 44 prospective teachers who were appointed to duty in February 2016 and completed a 24-week Prospective Teacher Training Program. A questionnaire which includes open-ended questions was used in the study. In the analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire, descriptive statistics was used. The results obtained in the study were examined under three themes. These are positive opinions of the prospective teachers about the training process, criticism of the prospective teachers regarding the training process and suggestions of the prospective teachers regarding the training process. It was concluded in the study that the training process contributed significantly to the prospective teachers. According to this, prospective teachers had the opportunity to develop themselves in the process and obtained professionally useful information. It has been determined that the recommendations of the prospective teachers about the training process are related to some problems they experienced in the process.
