Abstract:

The aim of this study is to investigate the universal moral values ​​of gifted children according to sociodemographic variables. Research is a study in relational screening model. 112 gifted children participated voluntarily from the schools in Istanbul in the 2018-2019 academic year. In order to measure the universal moral value of the gifted students, “The Universal Ethical Values Scale For 10-13 Year-Old Children” and to determine personal characteristics, “Personal Information Form” were used. The Universal Moral Values ​​Scale consists of 48 items. The reliability of the scale was 0,970 Cronbach Alpha factor. According to the findings of the study, it was seen that the universal moral values ​​of the gifted children between the ages of 10-13 were low. It was observed that there is a significant relationship of the age, the father's profession and 0-3 age caregiver variables of the gifted children with the average points of the Universal Moral Values ​​Scale and all the subscales.
