Predict-Observe-Explain (POE), one of the recommended methods for effective learning, teaching and evaluation in science education, has been used in learning environments over two decades. The method, which also is used for special purposes such as determining and eliminating misconceptions and it has been developed over the time with the addition of stage / stages in some researches due to different aims. In this study, meta-synthesis of POE-based researches, applied in the field of science education and published in the period from 2010 to now, has been done. In addition, the articles and the theses evaluated with qualitative methods are included because of the nature of meta-synthesis. In the studies limited to the sample Turkish Education System, the subject areas, research problems, method development, sample selection and preference of POE method during the period were evaluated with a critical point of view. 11 articles and 6 theses selected with these limitations have been examined. In recent years, it has been determined that the studies that have been intensified in biology and chemistry Also, the distribution of the subject areas used in the researches has different priority.
