Funny anecdotes about obscene topics and pornographic depictions have been made the most obvious themes of classical Arab humor by an ill-mannered staff interested in such narrations. Ebû İshâk el-Medînî’s humorous products that entertained Muslim intellectuals in Medieval islamic world for centuries are have been outshining those of his contemporaries both in quantity and quality. However, the biographical information in biography sources about his life is scarcely any. So, the aim of this article is to clarify the outlines of both his historical personality and sense of humor basing on his impudent jokes.
