Abstract:

The novel is the story of Yusuf, the main character of the novel. The rebellious rebellious rebellious rebellious rebellious rebellious. This work is one of the leading novels in Turkish literature in terms of criticism of the social order in Anadolu. This novel is a city novel. Kuyucaklı Yusuf's novel is one of the tragic novels in Turkish literature, which is deeply studied in psycho-social dimension, in addition to the social realistic side of Sabahattin Ali in research done so far. However, in this study, the poetry of the novel is missing. The name of the novel is also clear that the name of Yusuf is Kuyucaklı and the name of the novel also reflects the topology of the place-person, in fact emphasizes the importance of the place in the process of identification and self-reformation of the individual. Therefore, before the novel goes to the poetry of the place, the concept of "mekan" will be in place to be inherited in its psycho-social, ontological and poetic dimensions. The spaces in the novel are processed in relation to the thematic structure of the novel and the behavior and psychological structures of individuals. The purpose of this study is to study the novel Kuyucaklı Yusuf from the point of view of the human spirit of the place.
