Abstract:

Using the meaning of the speaker who prefers to be silent in the series judgment is discussed under the title of "divergent meaning" (mefhûmu'l-muhâlefe) and it has been a matter of controversy in the presence of scholars. But Hanafi scholars enlarged this debate about "Meskûtun anh" to a larger area with regard to content. In this study, it will be tried to reveal what Hanafi scholars -especially Sarakhsî- mean with the concept of meskûtun anh.
