Abstract:

Noise is defined as sound irregularity which has no obvious structure and can affect physical and psychological effects of the person it contains. In other words, it can be expressed as an unpleasant, unpleasant, uncomfortable voice community that has a negative effect on noisy people. Measuring or calculating the noise levels in an area determined on the map and determining the equal level lines and drawing the noise curves on the map is called noise maps. In other words, noise map; it is expressed in a plan that the changes of the valid noise conditions in an environment according to the physical environmental factors. Noise measurements made by the Marmara Research Center (MAM) in 2015 and 2016 have determined how much noise sources Elazığ Province has affected. In this study, besides the actual results of the work carried out by MAM, it was tried to be investigated as to whether the noise sources of the city people were more affected than the noise sources. In the first stage, a questionnaire on the time periods and the noise sources affected by the 57 day work in Gazi Caddesi, Governor Fahribey Caddesi, Şehit İlhanlar Caddesi, Government House, Teacher House Önü and İzzetpaşa Square areas where the population was crowded at all hours of the day it is made. In the next stage, a second survey study was carried out in order to reveal the consciousness of the people about the noise and the thoughts about the noise concept in 6 different places in İzzetpaşa Mahallesi which is one of the busiest places of the city and in the nature of the first survey. In this 16-day study, 509 people were interviewed face to face and asked to answer the questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. With the power analysis, 95% confidence and 4% acceptable error, sample numbers were determined according to the population living in the study area, and according to the test confidence and power ratios, the number of people who should have a minimum number of population affected by the questionnaire was determined. As a result of the study, when the results of the survey were compared with the results of the analysis made by the MAM, it was seen that the people who participated in the survey, like the actual measurements, were mostly affected by road-borne and least rail-borne noises. The results of the survey study and the measurement results showed only different results for the 2nd and 3rd order noise sources. As a result of the second survey study; it has been seen that people in the workplace are not very conscious about the noise issue, that information about the current legal regulations is inadequate, they are classically disturbed by traffic, at night, especially by wedding congestion, and are particularly frustrated and stressed.
