The theory of absolute advantages has occupied an important place in international economics. However, the theory of absolute advantages cannot explain international expertise in a definite sense. To explain this, we need to look at the Theory of Comparative Advantages developed by David Ricardo. In a comparative advantage theory, if there exists a country which is specialized in production according to other country, they will trade. The theory of comparative advantages is a model developed for foreign trade. In this study, Turkey's Revealed Comparative Advantages Index (BAT) is calculated. In this research, sectors exported by Turkey between 2005 and 2016 are discussed. The data used in the study are obtained from TUIK and INTRACEN. As a result of the study it has been determined that Turkey has a comparative advantage in exporting herbal products, food industry products, textile products, glass and glassware, metals, vehicles.
