The aim of this research is to determine the school administrators’ thoughts about effectiveness in school administration. Based on this purpose, an interview form having five questions including personal ones was prepared. Then, the school administrators who were chosen in accordance with the purpose of the study were interviewed and the interviews were recorded. These recordings were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The data gathered with these interviews were analyzed categorizing the emphasized points. Depending on this context, ten school administrators’ speech was examined and “emphasizing the goal” and “emphasizing the school” categories were determined as the statements which can be included in the emphasized points
