This article seeks to analyze present situation of adult education researches in Turkey. In this study, it is intended to analyze university-based adult education research perspectives in terms of contents, methodological aspects, quantity and continuity of survey. This study is mainly based on the documentary reviewing of the 110 thesis which were carried out as graduate research at the Bosporus and Ankara University from 1978 to May 2001
