In this research, it was aimed to determine the description of “responsibility” which was made by 4thgrade students, and it was tried to determine the feelings of students regarding if they are discharging the responsibility or not. The research included 20 male and 20 female students, and they were interviewed. Besides this, student’s drawings were used in this research which was designed by the qualitative method. According to results, it was determined that students describe “responsibility” as “children who are doing homework” and “person who does one’s duty” on the cognitive level. It was determined that students expressed their feelings when they discharge the responsibility as “being happy,” “being reliable,” “being proud of oneself,” and “being appreciated”. They said that they were relaxed and got positive results from the environment when they did their duties and also felt “sad,” “unhappy,” “anxious,” “restless,” and “unsuccessful” when they did not do their duties
