Nutrition is a biological requirement that a person needs to meet. It is also an important cultural system that produces a series of cultural elements that show differences from person to person, from region to region, from society to society. This culture is called “Food Culture”. The food culture is an important cultural system that follows from the production to the consumption of food in a society, and which constitutes the material and spiritual cultural elements that arise from this food. Antakya has a mosaic structure consisting of various cultural elements. One of the main motives of this mozaic is the Antakya food culture, which has a very rich content with traditional and ceremonial meals. The important factors that play a role in the formation of Antakya food culture are ecological, economic, cultural and religious factors.
