This study is carried out in order to explain the participation level of impaired students at secondary schools in sportive activities and their self esteem level according to some variables 4316 students attending 49 hearing impaired secondary schools form the universe of the study The example group is formed by 1274 students whose age average is 12 56 ± 2 51and 785 of them are male and 489 are female who want to participate in the study voluntarily 784 of them cannot hear 490 of them can hear with earphones and can speak at the same time Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale is used to determine the participation of the students in attending the sport activities and their self esteem From the result of the analysis there isn?t a significant difference statistically between students? self esteem grade average according to gender variable but according to participation in sport activity there is a significant difference between self esteem grade average in favor of those participating in sport and according to the level of handicap there is a significant difference in favor of those who can hear with earphones The increase of sport and social activities is important for hearing impaired students because of their communication with the society
