Özet:

To educate individuals to study in universities which are the center of getting and using information is an extremely important matter. The universities that have set out with this seriousness are supposed to recognize their students and understand their expectations. It is of vital importance to make studies related to identifying their motivations and expectations about higher education considering the fact that the universities that know their students better will be more successful. The aim of this study in which we take into account these issues is to determine, expectations of the students of the accounting department about higher education how they are motivated for university, how they are ready for higher education and how they are self-confident. As a result of the survey study, it is determined that the students are in a high level of motivation and they believe that they are going to be successful.
