After their graduation, most of the psychological counselors work as school counselor and they face with different student problems. Examining the self-competence level of psychological counselors is important to determine that how they see themselves about keeping their duties up. Aim of this study is to determine the competence perception of school counselors in pre-schools and primary schools, solutions that they adopt and that they find useful and subjects that they have a difficulty with. 183 (75%) of all participants are female, 61 (25) % of them are male; 73(29, 9%) of participants work in pre-schools, 171 (70, 1%) of them work in primary schools. According to findings of this study, participants feel themselves inadequate about in three subjects; risky sexual behaviors, gender identity problems and sexual abuse. School adjustment, peer relationships and problems about parents are the problem fields which are felt adequate. Results were discussed and suggestions were made in consideration of literature.
