Türkiye'de öğretmen yetiştirme programlarından bir tanesi farklı paydaşlardan gelen tüm eleştirilere rağmen pedagojik sertifika eğitim programıdır. Ülkemizde bu sertifika programı farklı üniversitelerde açılan eğitim hizmetleri ile birlikte tüm hızıyla devam etmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı pedagojik formasyon eğitim programına katılan öğrencilerin öğretmenlik kimliği ve mesleki kaygılarını incelemektir. Araştırmada formasyon öğrencilerinin ilgili bulguları ile önceki yıllarda yapılmış eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin verileri karşılaştırılmakta ve bu veriler ışığında derinlemesine bir tartışma sağlanmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre genel anlamda formasyon programı öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik kimliği ve mesleki kaygı düzeyleri eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturmamaktadır.
