The purpose of this study is to examine teachers’ views and experiences on the determination of performance task subjects and the process of student monitoring and assessment. The sample of the study, in which the case study method is used, consists of ten teachers. The data were obtained from an opinion form and analyzed by using content analysis. As a result of the study, it was understood that some of the examples given as performance task were not considered as performance task although the teachers determined the subjects of performance tasks by taking into account the gains and subject taught in the course. In addition it is concluded that teachers have the opinion that performance tasks provide some positive contribution to both students and teachers.
