Abstract:

Fatih Project Education Technology Use Course has been used in the work designed to determine the self-confidence of the teachers of the secondary school that participate in the service-in-train education and to show the opinions of teachers about the service-in-train education. The research was carried out in the years 2013-2014 with all the high school teachers who participated in the service-in-house training of the Fatih Project in Education and who worked in the Mersin or Toroslar district. Research data Technical Pedagogical Field Knowledge Self-confidence scale and survey form developed by researchers. Quantitative data are analyzed by visual statistics and intermediate differentiation tests and qualitative data are analyzed by content analysis. Research findings show that teachers' knowledge of the technological pedagogical field has high levels of self-confidence and that teachers' levels of self-confidence differ according to gender, age, access to technology and interest variables in new technologies. Furthermore, the Fatih Project Education Technology Course has come to the conclusion that service-in-house education contributes to the professional development of teachers, their personal development, their positive sensual characteristics regarding the use of technology. Based on these findings, the institutions that educate teachers can be considered to provide teachers candidates with the necessary experiences in order to gain knowledge of the technological pedagogical field. It can also be said that the service-in-service training provided to teachers in the service process has achieved the goals.
