So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

City council is an institution trying to develop awareness of citizenship, to protect city rights and interests, and foster participatory democracy in collaboration with central administration, local administration, and public professional establishments and civil society. Although structure of city council difference from city to city, it helps to city administration and contribute to the development of city by bringing stakeholders together. This study tries to evaluate whether city council has any impact or not on protecting city rights, developing citizentry awareness, participatory democracy, and governance.
