It is observed that the results of the studies investigating the socio-economic factors on the risk perception are various. This state is considered to be resulted from the interaction between the socio-economic and the demographic factors .The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of income level (which is one of the factors affecting the risk perception) on socio-economic and demographic factors (which are the other factors affecting the risk perception) for investors who have income of 7.000 TL and higher in Turkey. In this context, a survey has been conducted with 100 individuals who are living in Samsun and have monthly income of at least 7.000TL. The analyze of the data obtained in this survey showed that the effects of the factors of age, education and marital status on risk perception are eliminated; moreover gender, and level of professional and financial information have been still identified as the existed factors having a strong impact on risk perception
