Abstract:

Despite a lot of work on leadership from very ancient dates, the leadership continues to keep its mystery even today.  So today’s have also begun to work towards understanding the value of leadership in the face of increasing competition and changing environmental conditions. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between leadership and organizational commitment in the Social Insurance Institution, one of the public organizations. In this study, it is to explore the impact of the leadership styles employed by managers in the institution on the commitment of employees. A three-part survey form has been arranged to measure the relationship between these two concepts. All of the data is SPSS 22. It was analyzed in the program. The data is presented with the medium (minimum-maximum) and (medium-standard deviation). The normal distribution compatibility of data was tested with the Shapiro Wilk Test. The test results used the Independent T test and the ANOVA test in average comparisons for continuous data showing normal distribution. For continuous data that did not show normal distribution, Mann-Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis Test were used. The relationship between the constant variables was studied with the Spearman Correlation ratio.
