Abstract:

Digital environments affect and change the use of resources such as dictionaries and writing guidelines over time. Today there are dictionaries and writing guidelines available via the internet, which can be used through computers and mobile devices. The study aims to identify the habits of Turkish teacher candidates using electronic (e) dictionaries and writing guidelines. The research is carried out according to the quality research pattern. The sample of the study was determined among the candidates for Turkish teachers (n=80) studying at a state university’s educational faculty. The semi-configured interview form, which has been developed by researchers, has been used from the relevant research in the field to identify the habits of applicants using the e- dictionary and writing guidelines. The prepared form was hand-to-hand delivered to the candidates in the sample by the researchers and provided face-to-face interview, then collected. The obtained data is interpreted using quality analysis techniques. The study found that the majority of the candidates for Turkish teachers used e-literature and writing guidelines.
