In this study, investigation of the relationships between adolescences who are emotionally tied up to their parents, friends and problem solving in romantic relationships are aimed at. Variables such as age, gender, the number of siblings, whose children they are, mother’s and father’s education level and the socio-demographic level of family are dealt with. The search was completed with a total of 444 participants including 282 girls and 162 boys at Gazi University and the faculty members from faculty of vocational education, faculty of economics and administrative sciences, faculty of law and faculty of education have accepted to join in the research. Personal information form, the short form of inventory of parent and peer attachment, relationship scales questionnaire and the scale of problem solving in adolescences were applied in the present research. Findings showed that there was a low level positive relation between the types of parents, friends’ attachment and problem solving in romantic relationships. It can be stated that there was a relationship between the variables of age, gender, mother’s and father’s education level, the income level of family and the types of parents, friends’ attachment and problem solving in romantic relationships. The variables of children were only correlated with parent’s attachment. There was no relationship between the number of siblings and the types of parents, friends’ attachment and problem solving in romantic relationships.
