Abstract:

 Studies carried out on classification studies of postgraduate dissertations show distribution in different disability groups and concentrate on the general characteristics of theses of the researches carried out. From this point on, there have been no studies on the examination of theses in the field of autism and physical activity (sports, exercise, movement, physical fitness). For these reasons, it is considered that studies of postgraduate dissertations in the field of autism and physical activity will be examined and a general dimension will be given to writing the field by examining the field of autism and physical activity apart from other theses made with a focus on the arts. This study is an example of a content analysis for autism and physical activity published in the field of postgraduate studies. It is important that the content analysis studies for this area are inadequate in number and that the findings obtained in this study are informative about the nature of theses in this area. In addition, the compilation of postgraduate studies, researchers who have recently met with scientific research cultural concepts; general trends, methods used and topic selection. The authors did not conduct a general study under the framework of autism and physical activity, but their work was more privatized and worked under subheadings. The purpose of this research is to be examined by a variety of variables of Turkey 2013-2017 master's and doctoral thesis that physical activity is associated with autism. Despite the increase in autism studies in recent years, it has been determined that the number of postgraduate theses done in the field of sports or physical activity is not very high. Fourteen postgraduate studies have been completed in the thesis screening center of the Higher Education Council (YÖK). 10 of these theses are master's degree and 4 of them are doctorate thesis. Prior to 2013, there were no studies of postgraduate dissertation on autism and physical activity. As a result of the research; When the distribution according to the research groups is examined, it is observed that most of the theses between the years 2013-2017, which is made in the area of ​​social skills, can be reached at the thesis screening center of YÖK
