The self-sense starts with the social environment and begins to form from the infancy and the influence of the circle, the self-perception is the whole of the perceptions of the person, which can be shaped positively or negatively. The main aim of this study is with the Girls and boys high schools in birecik district of Şanlıurfa and Harran University Birecik Vocational School Department of Marketing and Advertising Public Relations program students ' level of self-esteem is to examine comparatively. The sample group of the study consists of 342 Vocational High School students and 113 Vocational School students from Birecik Vocational Trade High School for Girls and Birecik Vocational High School for Boys and Public Relations Program of Marketing and Advertising Department of Birecik Vocational School at Harran University, respectively. Research data was collected through face-to-face and online survey method using "Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale". In this study, it is aimed to examine self-esteem among the socio-demographic characteristics of vocational High School and vocational high school students. In this respect, the gender, age groups, parent education, place of residence, frequency of use of the internet and connection to the internet were evaluated comparatively. When the results were evaluated, the scores of self-esteem differ only according to school types. Progress at the level of Education has had a positive impact on self-esteem on students. Other socio-demographic variables did not have a significant effect on self-esteem.
