Kuruluşundan itibaren yönünü Batı’ya çeviren Türkiye ile Batılılar arasındaki bağlar kuvvetlendikçe Orta Doğu ülkeleriyle aramızdaki bağlar giderek zayıfladı. Türkiye’nin Filistin meselesi eksenli Orta Doğu politikasında yaşanan değişme, 5 Haziran 1967’de başlayarak altı gün boyunca devam eden Arap-İsrail savaşında yaşandı. Türkiye, 1970’ler ve 80’lerde BM çerçevesinde alınan kararlarda, hep Arap ülkeleriyle birlikte Filistinliler lehinde oy kullandı. 2009 yılında Davos’ta gerçekleştirilen ekonomi zirvesinde Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan’ın büyük bir cesaret ve kararlılık örneği olan “One Minute” çıkışı Türkiye’nin Filistin meselesiyle ilgili duyarlılığının en açık göstergesi oldu. Bu makalede, 60 yıldan fazla bir süredir devam eden süreçte Türkiye’nin Filistin meselesinde izlediği politikaların inişli çıkışlı seyrine paralel olarak Orta Doğu ülkeleriyle olan ilişkilerin gelişim seyrine genel bir projeksiyon sunulacaktır.
Since its establishment, the links between Turkey and the West, which turned its direction to the West, strengthened, the links between the countries of the Middle East and us weakened. The change in the Middle East policy of Turkey on the issue of Palestine occurred in the six-day Arab-Israeli war, which began on June 5, 1967. In the 1970s and 1980s, Turkey, in the UN framework, always voted in favor of the Palestinians with its Arab countries. The "One Minute" exit, a great example of President Erdogan's courage and determination at the 2009 economic summit in Davos, was a clear indicator of Turkey's sensitivity to the issue of Palestine. This article will present a general projection of the development of relations with the countries of the Middle East, parallel to the downward outcome path of the policies that Turkey has followed in the issue of Palestine in the course of more than 60 years.
Turkey who has deflected her direction into the West since its establishment, ties between Turkey and the Western countries have strengthened, on the contrary relations between her and Middle East countries have gradually weakened. A change in Middle East policy of Turkey which is focused on Israeli- Palestine conflict was seen in Arab- Israeli war called as Six Day War or June War which started on 5th June 1967 and ended in six days. The Turkish authorities took an attitude towards the Arab countries during the war and aftermath of the war in this period when the crises that caused this war. While making decisions in the framework of the UN in the 1970s and 1980s.Turkey has voted in favour of Palestinians with the Arab countries. A great courage and determination instance of President Erdogan during economic summit in Davos, 2009 “One Minute” reaction, can be regarded as explicit indicator of sensitivity of Turkey on Palestine issue. In this article, a general projection for up and down trend of the policies of Turkey on the Palestine issue in parallel with taking the course of development of relations between Turkey and Middle East countries which has been continuing for more than 60 years of ongoing processes will be introduced.
