It is aimed with this study to collect the ideas of science teacher candidates about 3-Idiots movie in terms of science in everyday life and family role in process of education. This study is designed as a phenomenological research study which is among qualitative research methods. Participants whose inputs were collected are selected by purposeful sampling. Study group is consisted of two types of participants in a total of 124 teachers’ candidates. As data gathering tool, two semi-structured interview questions prepared accordingly to 3-Idiots movie are used and data were analyzed with the qualitative analysis program called HyperRESEARCHTM 2.6.1. As a result of the study it was found that teacher candidates identified only very striking examples of many examples about science in everyday life in the film. In addition teacher candidates’ opinions showed that teacher candidates' families in the educational process caused by to choose the wrong profession, orientation profession according to gender, failure, psychological disorder, loss of self-confidence, anxiety, instability
