Bu çalışmada amaç Eğitim Fakültesi Türkçe Öğretmenliği son sınıf öğrencileri ile pedagojik formasyon grubu (Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı) arasındaki öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları belirlemek ve bu tutumların çeşitli değişkenler açısından anlamlı bir fark gösterip göstermediğini tespit etmektir. Çalışmanın evrenini; 2015-2016 öğretim yılında Kafkas Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Türkçe Eğitimi Bölümü’nde 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören 46, 2015-2016 öğretim yılında Kafkas Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’ne bağlı pedagojik formasyon grubunda öğrenim gören 58 olmak üzere toplamda 104 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler Temizkan (2008) tarafından hazırlanan “Türkçe Öğretmenliği Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ve Erdağı Toksun (2016) tarafından hazırlanan görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler istatistiki açıdan normal dağılım göstermediği için non-parametrik testler ile analizler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; pedagojik formasyon grubu öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının lisans son sınıf öğrencilerine göre daha iyi düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca cinsiyet değişkenine göre ölçeğin alt boyutlarının bazılarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise toplanan veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Görüşmeler sonucunda da formasyon grubu öğrencilerinin Türkçe öğretmen adaylarına göre mesleğe yönelik tutumları daha iyi düzeyde çıkmıştır.
