Abstract:

After the Turkey Republic established, same as the period of National Contention, Turkish government has been come face to face with menace of Kurdish activity. As known, first and most serious Kurdish activity is Şeyh Sait revolt(13 February-15 April 1925). This revolt had been provoke by United Kingdom, who desired to let Musul to Iraq which is under her own mandate, and then revolt spread to Bingöl, Muş, Diyarbakır, Tunceli, Elazığ, Ergani, Silvan, Siirt ve Urfa. However much this revolt had been overcome at 15 April, but restlessness at this region has been continue for four years. Its known that, that times British spy Colonel Lawrens had been sent to Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria secretly make a plan for to get general Kurdish revolt and for this reason he was put together Kurdish Teali Association, Vilayeti Sitte Kurdish Association. This study, based on documents retrieved from “UK National Archives”, focusses on the Ağrı Revolts whish started 1926 and finished at 1930, play a part in importance of especially British, French, Italy and Greek policy related with this subject
