All around the world, although women workers at the first step overcome workers the difficulty of having a place in the labour market, yet they face the second difficulty of promotion. This shows the fact that women have difficulty in getting promotion because of gender biased discrimination. In this stıudy, it is aimed to state the factors those are effective in the promotion of women and to find out whether there is a discrimination within the aspect of their promotion. Also discrimination scale is tried to be developed by the researcher. As a result of the applied analysis, two factors are obtained and these factors are named as: discriminative and objective factors in the promotion of women
