Toplumsal gelişimin sağlanması, toplumu oluşturan her bireyin belli ölçüde eğitilmesini gerektirmektedir. Halk eğitimi olarak bilinen bu süreç, aynı zamanda kitlesel boyutta bir dönüşümü de ifade etmektedir. Nitekim Atatürk döneminde başlatılan halk eğitimi çalışmaları, onun önderliğinde sistematik bir süreç haline getirilmiştir. Ayrıca bu toplumsal dönüşümün, halkçı bir bakış açısı ile yoğrulması ve milletin kültürel düzeyini yükseltecek bir vizyona sahip olması beklenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; ulu önder Atatürk’ün eğitim ile halkın ayrı düşünülemeyeceğine olan inancının halkın eğitilmesiyle nasıl pratiğe dönüştürüldüğünün bir tasviridir
To ensure social development requires that every individual that forms society is educated to a certain extent. This process, known as public education, also represents a mass transformation. Indeed, the work of public education initiated during the Atatürk period has become a systematic process under his leadership. It is also expected that this social transformation will be aggregated with a populist perspective and will have a vision to raise the cultural level of the nation. The purpose of this study is an illustration of how ulu leader Atatürk's education and the belief that the people cannot be thought separately are converted into practice by the education of the people.
