This study aims examination of the Tourism Sector in Turkey and its effects on the economic growth. The relation between income from this sector and growth in Turkey was tested by T-VAR (Threshold Vector Autoregressive) analysis. This method is chosen because of the nonlinear structure of tourism income, tourism demand, growth and exchange rate and thereby robust results from this analysis realized. However this study shows the positive relationship between tourism income and growth, it is seen that this result requires 30% increase in tourism income
