In this study the relation between reading comprehension of 4th class students and their success in Turkish, Maths, Social Sciences and Science and Technology lessons has been researched. The study has been carried on 200 4th class students selected randomly in Vali Teoman and Nami Veyisoğlu Primary School in Antakya, Hatay. The students have been made to read a story from Turkish lesson book then, 6 reading comprehension questions have been asked them. Students’ answers given reading comprehension questions have been calculated according to 3-grade likert scoring key. Students reading comprehension means and their success in Turkish, Maths, Social Sciences and Science and Technology lessons have been compared. At the end of the study, it has been found that there is a correlation between the success of students reading comprehension of 4th class students and their success in Turkish, Maths, Social Sciences and Science and Technology lessons
