The purpose of this study is to determine and compare attitudes of the students in the faculty of Divinity and the department of Religious Culture and Ethics towards multicultural education. The sample group was consisted of 219 students studying at Ataturk University, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Selcuk University and Uludag University in the 2010-2011 academic year. The research was designed as descriptive research. Teacher Multicultural Attitude Survey (TMAS) , developed by Ponterotto, Baluch, Greig, and Rivera (1998) and adapted to Turkish by Yazıcı, Başol and Toprak (2009), was employed as measurement tool. The students, participated in the research, show positive attitude towards multicultural education. On the other hand, students ‘attitudes are not statistically significant in terms of gender, economic status of family, education level of parents, scores of the students during Student Selection and Placement (SSP) exam, ultimate General Weighted Average Grade (GWAG), types of educational institutions and attributes of the locations where students live in
