One of the most important difficulties in teaching Turkish as a second language is vocabulary learning. While there are learners who can develop their own vocabulary learning strategies, there are also those who can not do it autonomously through integrating their old and new knowledge. As a sub-component of language learning strategies, vocabulary learning strategies constitutes the main of this study. For this reason, this study investigates vocabulary learning strategies of students at B2 level in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University TÖMER (Turkish Teaching, Application and Research Center) while learning Turkish. It is also aimed to find out vocabulary learning strategies of multilingual students learning Turkish as a second language and their vocabulary learning strategies in their previous experiences and explore the differences and similarities between them. Case study as a qualitative method was used in this study. The data collected through demographic information forms and interview records were analyzed with decriptive statistics.
