Abstract:

With the transition to knowledge society insentive usage of knowledge and communication technologies leads to virtuality process in organizations. New and dynamic structure expressed as virtual organization has displayed the characteristics differ from traditional organizations, such as geographical distribution, personalized applications, based on knowledge and communication technologies, employees operating remotely from each other. Besides this, how knowledge sharing factbasically including communication- takes place in virtual organization is an interesting subject. Also human resources management in virtual organizations seen as a process contributed to knowledge sharing in terms of HRM`s structure of being dynamic and directly related to human.The aim of this study is to examine the interaction of the knowledge sharing and human resources management in virtual organizations. With this aim, the conceptual framework of the virtual organization, HRM in virtual organization and the relationship with knowledge sharing are explained through the literature review. The last chapter of the study includes the research about the interaction of knowledge sharing and HRM in the virtual organization. The survey questions measuring the attitudes related to knowledge sharing and HRM functions take place in the survey that is applicated to the virtual employees of quality and consultancy firm.
