The purpose of this research is to analyse prevalence of the mobbing phenomenon, results that were obtained in accordance to gender variable and proposals to prevent the mobbing in research papers by using content analysis. Therefore, a search was done by using the key words “Mobbing, Psychological Harassment, Emotional Abuse, Psychological Violance” in the data bases of ULAKBIM and Dergi Park where the national databases take place) and 65 research papers were included. These research papers were categorized in to 7 different sectors (Banking & Finance, Education, Tourism & Hospitality, Health, University, Different Public Institutions and Different Private Instiutions). According to the results, it was found that the frequency of mobbing is ranged 25%-47% in Banking & Finance sectors,%27.4-%47 in Tourism & Hospitality sector, 4.1%67% in Education sector, 12% - 78.7% in Health sector, 15.68% - 88.7% in Different Private Institutions and 15.10% - 44% in Different Public Institutions. Also it was found that there was no significant difference in mobbing according to gender variable for whole sectors. It was found that different suggestions were made by researchers for each work areas in research for preventing mobbing, however it was observed that a common suggestion for preventing mobbing in work areas except Banking & Finance and Tourism & Hospitality is giving education and increasing the awareness on psychological mobbing in work places. The findings were obtained from the research related to the scope was discussed in the light of the literature
