Abstract:

The age of knowledge is a period of complexity and complexity. All these complex and complex problems need to be addressed and solved in a comprehensive approach. In this context, leaders are needed to demonstrate a comprehensive approach. This leader is called a sustainable leader. The study aimed at determining the boundaries of the concept by studying the sources in domestic and foreign literature on the subject of sustainable leadership, which is a new concept. The literary scan method was used for the purpose. The concept of sustainable leadership, which is defined as the leadership that sees, understands and concerns about the social, cultural, economic and environmental problems in which the information society lives, and defines them as the leadership that organizes them, forms the scope of what personal characteristics the work has by addressing it from an organizational point of view.  The study found that sustainable leadership is important not only for today’s society, but also for the existence and continuity of a new society that will evolve in the future, and that it is therefore included in the relevant literature as a leadership style that should be given to individuals in the educational process. The dynamics that create today are the work of yesterday, and the dynamics that will create the future are formed from today. In fact, a sustainable leader is a guiding person with critical importance in shaping these dynamics.
